History of the Sudanese Human Right Movement

BACKGROUND
In recent years, non-governmental organization (NGOs) have taken on ever more important role in the national, regional and international level in promotion and protection of human rights. The precursors of the global modern human rights movement date back to the Magna Carta in England, in 1215, the English Bill of Rights in 1689, the French Declaration on the Rights of Man and Citizen in1789, and the US Constitution and Bill of Rights in 1791.
